兩會(huì)期間，來(lái)自全國(guó)各行各業(yè)的逾2000名全國(guó)政協(xié)委員(over 2,000 members of the CPPCC National Committee from different sectors across China)將就關(guān)乎我國(guó)發(fā)展的主要政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)問題展開討論(discuss major political, economic and social issues concerning the country's development)。會(huì)議期間的其他主要議程還包括：列席十二屆全國(guó)人大五次會(huì)議(present at the Fifth Session of the 12th NPC as non-voting participants)，聽取并討論政府工作報(bào)告(work report of the government)、最高人民法院工作報(bào)告、最高人民檢察院工作報(bào)告(work reports of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate)等其他有關(guān)報(bào)告，和討論《民法總則》草案(draft of the general provisions of civil law)。
