BRI paving the way for academic and career success

Ong Thai Kiat, associate dean of Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology in Malaysia, emphasized the growing educational and employment links between Malaysia and China, when attending the Belt & Road Forum on Scientific & People-to-people Exchanges and High-quality Development.

"Under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Malaysia and China have created many job opportunities as well as pathways for further education", mentioned Ong Thai Kiat, so he encourages Malaysian students to visit China to broaden their international perspectives, highlighting the Malaysia-China Industrial Park in Kuantan, where many Chinese companies are eager to recruit talent.

He also shared two key collaborations with Chinese universities: one in metallurgy with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, and another in digital marketing, where China is a global leader. These partnerships offer immense opportunities for students.
