Beijing will hold its half marathon on April 24 with the starting line at Tiananmen Square and the finish at Olympic Park.
According to the organizing committee, the race this year will only accept permanent residents of the city in light of pandemic prevention requirements.
Runners who plan to compete should not leave the city from April 10 to 24.
The run will cover a total length of 21.0975 km, with participation limited to 10,000 people.
Before receiving entries, a paper version of negative nucleic acid test certificates issued on or after April 21 must be presented.
Last year, this competition was canceled because of the pandemic.
